Go to the releases page to listen to the latest offerings from the Spinball catalogue.
Spinball 019
Dr Tre & Disturbed "Rawthroat"
inc. Dave Owens Remix
Spinball 019 picks the cream from New Zealand's hard dance circuit to bring you a dirty, bassline driven, power house of a track that has been picked up by many of the scenes top dj's. Ryan Tregurtha and Tic Jermyn, aka Dr Tre & Disturbed let loose a thunderous and hammering tune that simply never lets up. Tight production and well executed synths, a real gem.
Dave Owens was offered the drivers seat for the remix duties and duly shows why he has what it takes to deliver a flip mix to match. True Dave Owens style and production.
Spinball 018
Defective Audio Vs Ben Miles & Ben Townsend "Born Capable "
Defective Audio Vs Mr Clarke "Sawtooth Sandwich"
When Ben Miles and Ben Towsend visited 404studio the result was only ever going to be messy. Sure enough, the track that emerged was gritty, powerfull and had enough attitude to scare the pants off a grizzly bear at 100 paces.
Dom then teams up with local pal Mr Clarke for "Sawtooth Sandwich". Sirens, jungle style basses and nifty effect stabs propel the track into a place previously onyl visited by the brave warriors of the delta quadrant.
Health warnings apply if listener excedes maximum decibel level, highly recomended!!
Spinball 017
Dave Curtis "Brain Drain"
Defective Audio Vs Adam Martin "Execute"
Spinball welcomes two new faces to the label, Dave Curtis and Adam Martin. Both enter the studio with the intention of delivering some hard and damaging tunage.
First up is Dave Curtis who puts his own stamp on a hoover fueled monster that laces rap style vocal shouts and scratch effects, nice work Dave!!
Next up is Adam Martin, a well known dj on the hard house circuit. This collaboration is the resulting madness that occured when Dom and Adam got together at 404studio.
Spinball 016
Base Graffiti "Bamzooki"
Base Graffiti "Bamzooki" (Andy Farley Remix)
Here we go guys!! Are you set for yet some more mayhem? Check out the samples in the releases section and you will see why there is a buzz about this track already. Dom lays down a seriously slick piece of system crunching beats and a tube style riff that has his trademark sound stamped all over it. Laced with a cool little vocal loop Bamzooki speeds along perfectly before hammering unsuspecting ears with a bluntly delivered hoover riff. hehe.
Andy Farley was left at the remix factory for this one and has delivered a version so dirty we had to pick it up with a robotic arm. Never the less we still managed to slip in into the cd player and marvel at the pure squelchy beauty of it.
Spinball 015
Base Graffiti "DomDeVit"
Base Graffiti "
Beat Freak"
Dom brings the Base Graffiti name back with a vengeance with two new tracks that have that unmistakable edge and sound he is renowned for. Both the newly finished DomDeVit and the eagerly awaited Beat Freak are currently getting massive support from Justin Bourne, Andy Farley and Karim.
While Doms new ventures take him into the realms of breaks, he obviously has not lost his grip on all things tuff and slammin' !!!
Spinball 014
Base Graffiti "Air Lock"
Base Graffiti "Rio Bang"
Here we see Base Graffiti apear on the label for the first time.
Air Lock is the first up which is a full on mash up of catch vocal snippets and crushing leads.
A Tube style riff blasts this one through your head while cheeky house stabs keep an unmistakably Base Graffiti edge to the track.
Rio Bang! on the flip returns Dom to a sound he grew up on, Think '90's rave and TDV and you have a killer mix of club sassy beats and raw sound system energy. This one rocks! Huge rave style riffs and chunky De Vit style chords catapault it along like a Bull Terrier on a mission to get to the bar!
Make you own analogy in the releases section where samples are up to listen to.
Spinball 013
Wil H & Kaney "Fortress"
Wil H & Kaney "Fortress" (Defective Audio Mix)
Wil H & Kaney are the latest addition to supply some top quality sounds for the label by providing a slick tech based floor grinder that pleads to be turned up and caned stupid.
Dom has taken the original and squeezed some truly mind boggling results from his studio gadgetry and come up with a speaker melting version of his own to take up the void that is the flip side to this release.
Both sides carve thier own path to the dark side and set further the pace that is Spinball!!
